This article is not of focus on the local IC components product itself, but the solution for difficulties of these manufacturers.
Currently many manufacturers around the coast have been facing the same the problems: hard to recruit new staffs and the increasing price of raw materials, but also very difficult to increase selling price accordingly.
The reason for coastal manufacturers are hard to recruit new staffs is: the workers no longer willing to move out of hometown to work, coastal cities wage levels and living environment has lost its attraction. Low wages, poor living conditions and no hope for change are why workers can no longer stand for, this is a social problem rather than electronic components
These problems are affecting the industry. Component manufacturers received orders, even hardware are all ready, but there are no staffs, so no production. Most manufacturers can only action is increase of the salary, wages rise for workers is not enough. The wages will not rise to as good as the mainland companies.
Having said that, the rising prices of raw materials (such as: Copper, aluminum, gold) and extended the number of delivery day, such as the PCB of the plate, probably a week before delivery to buy, and now it takes10 days to get the goods. Foreign manufacturers are also facing the same problem.
In general, to deal with increasing raw material prices, the only way is to consult with clients, and occasionally also bear by themselves, if the profits is high. The solutions for storage of staffs are not only by raising wages, but also play the emotional card. They should try to persuade workers to apply for the job and stay.
