CMOS image sensor product line, launching a A new 5 megapixel device.
EmeraldTM 5M is designed for machine vision, automated optical inspection (AOI) and factory automation applications that require higher resolution images of moving objects, no distortion. Available in monochrome and color, the sensor is available in a small 1/1.8-inch optical format with 2.8μm, low noise global shutter pixels and a 2,560 x 1,936 array. The device can also stream video at 10 bits and 50 frames per second over a 4-wire MIPI CSI-2 interface.
Emerald 5M is designed to deliver fast, wide-ranging operations with powerful unique patented features and regions of interest.Optimized for machine vision applications, the sensor includes 5° primary ray angle compensation in a rugged CLGA® package or a miniaturized organic sector package with a thickness of only 1.19 mm.
Emerald 5M also provides R&D engineers with the flexibility to use the latest image signal processor (ISP) for mobile applications through its global shutter and MIPI CSI-2 interface. The embedded digital function of the sensor.
